Those knives were really popular back to 80-90s in Japan. The company stoped the production around the ’90s for some reason. Sourced from a closed supplier in Seki city, this new old stock kitchen knife has been waiting decades to see the light of day. Made from SK high carbon steel which is easy to sharpen and retains a very sharp edge. An absolute bargain at this price, limited stock. Sk High Carbon steel is semi-stainless steel, it is not reactive as much as carbon steel but you may see some discoloration. Handle is really smooth and fine.
