So far I've used the Kanehide Honesuki Maru only for poultry - the task it has actually been designed for - and it works like a dream. Sturdy point, good sharpness out of the box, and a handle material which is 100% fit for purpose (reliable traction in wet and slippery settings). At this price it's a steal! Highly recommended!
